The studio
How a journey is made
Five steps, from the first conversation to the call after you are home — and what we promise at each.
The conversation
An hour, on a call or in our Bangkok studio. We ask about the last trip you loved and the last one you didn't. We talk about pace, food, water, who is travelling, and what you want to remember.
- No cost, no commitment
- We reply within one working day, and send a written brief the same day we speak
The design
Within five working days you receive a first draft: a day-by-day route with the hosts, houses and boats we have in mind, and the reasons for each. We revise it with you until it is exactly right.
- A fixed design fee, quoted before any work begins and credited in full against your journey
- Every stay and guide vetted in person by our team
The booking
You say yes to a route, and we hold it. Every confirmation, every voucher, every driver's name in one place, with the non-refundable elements identified before you pay rather than in a schedule you find later.
- Confirmations within one working day of your go-ahead
- Deposit by the provider's own secure page — card details never touch this site
While you travel
From the moment you land, a host from the studio is a message away. Private transfers, a car and driver where the roads demand it, and a line that answers whenever you call it — a person who knows your itinerary, at three in the morning if that is when it goes wrong.
- 24-hour line, answered by someone who has read your file
- Anything broken is fixed at our cost, not argued about at yours
After you are home
We call within the week — partly because we want to hear it, and partly because a supplier that disappointed you comes off the list. What we learn about how you travel is kept, so the second journey starts further along than the first.
- A call within seven days of your return
- Your notes kept for next time; deleted on request, always
Every promise on this page is one the studio keeps at the scale it works at — about forty journeys a year, one designer on each. If we ever cannot keep one, it comes off this page before it comes off the service.
