What this website collects

Nothing automatically. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no cookie set by us. We do not know who you are or that you visited.

The planner

The four-step planner keeps your answers in your own browser only. Nothing is transmitted while you choose, and closing the tab discards it. At the end you are shown your brief and you decide whether to copy it or open it in your email client. Until you do that, it has not left your device and we have not seen it.

If you email us

We hold what you send — your name, your email address and what you told us about the trip — for as long as it takes to answer, and afterwards while we are planning or have planned a journey for you. Ask us to delete it and we will, without asking why.

We do not sell data. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing. When a journey is booked, we pass on only what a supplier needs to deliver it — the hotel that needs a name, the airline that needs a passport.

Your rights

Under Thailand's PDPA, and under the GDPR if you are in Europe, you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@teakandsalt.com and we will answer within thirty days.

Hosting

This site is served by Vercel, which processes standard server logs including IP addresses in order to deliver the pages and protect against abuse. We do not query those logs.

Booking terms

Our booking terms — deposit, balance, cancellation and refunds, and what happens if a supplier fails — are being reviewed and are available on request before you commit to anything. We would rather send you terms that are correct than publish terms that are not.
